Business Architect Capability & Technology Mapping Rate: $60/hr on C2C, Sunrise, FL, Onsite Position.

Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Business Architect with strong expertise in business capability modeling, business-to-technology mapping, enterprise architecture, and integration ecosystems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business capabilities and requirements into clear technology and architecture perspectives and helping stakeholders understand how business capabilities align with applications, APIs, data, and technology platforms.
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct business capability-to-technology mapping and identify alignment, gaps, dependencies, and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain business capability models, capability maps, and related architecture artifacts.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear business architecture narratives and recommendations.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define target-state capabilities and supporting technology solutions.
• Analyze relationships between business capabilities, applications, APIs, data, and technology platforms.
• Provide architectural perspectives on API ecosystems, integration patterns, and enterprise integration architectures.
• Identify opportunities for modernization, rationalization, simplification, and improved technology alignment.
• Create architecture roadmaps and communicate current-state and target-state perspectives.
• Facilitate discussions with business and technical stakeholders and drive alignment on architecture decisions.
• Apply established Business Architecture and Enterprise Architecture standards and frameworks.
• Develop clear architecture documentation, diagrams, capability maps, and supporting artifacts.
• Communicate complex technical and architectural concepts in a manner that is understandable to business stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience as a Business Architect, Enterprise Architect, or similar architecture role.
• Deep understanding of Business Architecture principles, standards, and frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with business capability modeling and capability-to-technology mapping.
• Strong understanding of API ecosystems, APIs, integration architectures, and integration patterns.
• Experience working across business and technology organizations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to create clear architecture narratives and communicate complex concepts effectively.
• Experience developing architecture diagrams, roadmaps, capability maps, and other architecture artifacts.
• Ability to work with senior business and technology stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with frameworks such as TOGAF, BIZBOK, or similar Business/Enterprise Architecture frameworks.
• Experience in enterprise modernization or digital transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with application portfolios, technology landscapes, data architecture, and integration platforms.
• Experience working in large enterprise environments.
