Business Analyst HR Technology

This is a hands-on BA(PM) role for someone who can own initiatives from initiation through delivery while also diving into business processes, requirements, workflows, testing, and issue resolution.
You will work closely with HR, Technology, vendors, and business stakeholders to bring structure to complex initiatives, manage competing priorities, and ensure successful delivery.
What You'll Do Project Management

• Manage HR Technology projects and workstreams from initiation through implementation.
• Build and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs, action trackers, and status reports.
• Coordinate across HR, Technology, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Identify and drive resolution of risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery blockers.
• Lead project meetings and working sessions; document decisions, actions, owners, and follow-ups.
• Support implementation, testing, change readiness, and go-live activities.

Business Analysis

• Partner with HR stakeholders to understand business needs, processes, pain points, and desired outcomes.
• Translate business needs into clear business and functional requirements.
• Document current-state/future-state processes, workflows, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Work with Technology teams and vendors to ensure requirements are translated effectively into solutions.
• Support test planning, test scenarios, UAT coordination, defect management, and business sign-off.
• Maintain traceability from requirements through solution delivery and testing.

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience managing HR Technology / HRIS projects.
• Hands-on experience with business analysis, requirements gathering, process analysis, and stakeholder workshops.
• Strong project management skills across planning, governance, risk/issue management, dependencies, and stakeholder management.
• Experience managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with both business and technical audiences.
• Highly organized, proactive, and delivery-oriented.
• Comfortable working independently and bringing structure to ambiguous situations.
• A "roll-up-your-sleeves " approach with strong ownership and follow-through.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Workday, ServiceNow, ADP, or comparable enterprise HR platforms.
• HR Technology experience involving integrations, data migration, AI, reporting, security, or workflow/process redesign.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience working with third-party implementation partners and technology vendors.
• Knowledge of HR functions such as Core HR, Talent, Recruiting, Performance, Compensation, Learning, or Payroll.

You create structure, communicate clearly, anticipate problems, and take ownership of getting things done.
This role will manage multiple HR Technology initiatives concurrently and report to an HR Technology Product Manager.
