Summary

**Onsite 5 day/week for first 3 months then hybrid.

6-month contract plus extensions.

Location: Yonkers, NY 10701

Position Summary

The HRSC Specialist provides Tier 1.5 transactional support within a defined HR domain, executing HR lifecycle transactions and resolving complex inquiries that require system access and specialized knowledge. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution while partnering closely with Tier 1 and HRSC leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Data analysis
Completes data analysis of large datasets including multiple employee and org-based variables
Makes decisions on transaction execution based on outcome of data analysis

Transactional Execution
Complete HR transactions in Workday, including but not limited to job changes, routine rule-based compensation changes, data corrections, changes to the table of organization
High volume processing of payroll impacting transactions
Validate documentation and ensure data accuracy and integrity
Document all transactions processed in master databases - data migration
Resolve escalated inquiries within defined SLAs

Process Adherence & Quality
Follow established SOPs and data standards
Identify recurring issues and process gaps
Support audit and compliance requirements as applicable

Collaboration & Improvement
Partner with Tier 1 to clarify intake and reduce rework
Provide feedback on documentation and workflow improvements
Write SOPs for processes as they are developed
Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Skills

Required
Microsoft Suite -- Excel, Word, Powerpoint
Experience in HR operations or transactional processing
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines

Preferred
Experience with Workday
Experience with ServiceNow
Experience in shared services environments
Python and/or SQL
