Summary
Purpose Statement / Position Summary
- Cliente''s Instructional Design and eLearning Development team is responsible for developing the knowledge and skills of the workforce with a focus on Epic and its many integrations.
- Ensures Client staff can meet current and future business objectives and deliver quality educational services that meet customers’ needs through online and hybrid content.
- Designs courses, develops overall curriculums, produces eLearning, and creates supporting education materials.
- Works closely with teams across the organization conducting needs analyses, developing learning objectives, writing, organizing, and editing content, and applying learning theory to produce customized education solutions.
- Uses instructional design and multimedia development skills to shape curricular content into coherent instructional modules.
- Employs multimedia and interactive web-based tools aimed at encouraging learner engagement.
- Solves complex content or delivery-related issues in collaboration with Epic Analysts and Client technical teams.
- Devises educational interventions required to close end-user performance gaps.
- Creates training programs based on analysis and provides guidance in creating and evaluating results.
- Works closely with leaders, subject matter experts, and team members on all aspects of education programs.
- Ensures project deadlines are met and educational content reflects operational workflows, policies, and procedures.
- Functions as an expert in educational validation sessions for application build modifications, upgrades, and implementation of new technologies.
- Builds educational content with strong aesthetic appeal while applying learning principles to deliver measurable knowledge gains.
- Develops engaging and highly interactive content to support end-user knowledge growth.
- Advises on and develops course curriculum while providing direction for creation and storage of educational materials.
- Ensures educational content and supporting materials remain current and readily accessible within Client environments.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Act as a point of escalation related to technical issues and questions.
- Collaborate with support faculty and Epic Analysts to improve student learning.
- Participate in assigned integration work groups.
- Teach and mentor new IS Training team members to achieve maximum technical competencies.
- Determine appropriate training methodologies for new functionality/workflows.
- Ensure instructional design aligns with adult education best practices.
- Manage training projects and create status reports on online training development progress.
- Educate employees and leaders on efficient use of the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Lead prioritization of instructional design projects and ensure accountability for on-time delivery.
- Create and validate training tools supporting ongoing education of system users.
- Oversee training environments and provide direction regarding environment structure.
- Maximize utilization of tools and learning technologies in deploying eLearning content.
- Audit courses and assist with evaluating learning program effectiveness.

Experience Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of relevant Epic experience.
- Minimum 7 years of instructional design and eLearning development experience.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and integrated tools.
- Epic Master Train Environment (MST) build experience when Epic is the primary supported system.
- Demonstrated proficiency in adult learning theory, motivation, and development.
- Proven ability to identify issues, prioritize, and resolve problems.
- Proven leadership skills in organizing, planning, and implementing process changes.
- Advanced analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in content development, build, and refinement.
- Experience owning educational project deliverables, objectives, and timelines.

Education / Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required.
- Epic Certification in one or more modules (NVT) required when Epic is the primary supported system.
- Multiple Epic certifications preferred.
- Instructional Design Certificate preferred.
