Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Utilities Maintenance Technician for a contract position with a Pharmaceutical Company located in Athens, GA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This is a 2nd shift position (Monday - Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM). The successful candidate will play a key role in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and systems such as clean utilities, clean room HVAC, power plant utilities, and HPW systems.
Responsibilities: - Independently perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on all equipment and systems
- Ensure the reliability and performance of systems including clean utilities, clean room HVAC, power plant/utilities, and HPW systems
- Adhere to good maintenance practices in all aspects of work
Requirements: - High School Diploma with 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry OR
- Associate's Degree/Technical Degree in a relevant field of study with 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
- Hands-on experience in boilers and plant steam systems, compressed air systems, centrifugal chillers and cooling towers, and process chill water systems
- Experience with RO/DI, HPW systems, clean steam systems, generators, and electrical systems
- Knowledge of and adherence to EHS requirements
- Intermediate level problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Proficient verbal and written communication
Pay rate: up to $37.50 per hour
