Summary
Sr. DeVops Engineer
Location: Houston Texas ( 5 Days onsite)
Local nearby Candidates required
Duration: 6+ months (with possible extension or CTH)
Visa: W2
Must Have:
Must have experience in large scale applications/environments
Must be strong in unix/Linux
Should have strong automation skills
Should be very well versed in AWS
Resiliency/performance/security/Disaster Recovery
Must be strong in CICD like Jules and Jenkins
Python/Shell/coding experience is a big plus
SQL
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in Linux, REST APIs, Spring Boot, Node.js, SQL, and core algorithms.
• Experience with large-scale, distributed applications in mission-critical environments.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging APIs (e.g., JMS).
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices: CI/CD, automated testing (TDD), resiliency, and application security.
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven track record of delivering results in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
• Awareness of industry technology trends and best practices.
