Job Description
We are seeking a Software Engineering - Application Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Epic Ambulatory, Bones, Beacon, and Phoenix and a proven ability to implement, build, maintain, and optimize Epic integration systems that support clinical workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Implement, build, maintain, and optimize Epic integration systems for Ambulatory settings.
- Lead and support hands-on implementations across Ambulatory Beacon, Phoenix, Genomics, and Bones.
- Design and manage SmartText builds and related Ambulatory configuration.
- Collaborate with clinical stakeholders including Doctors and RNs to align workflows and IT strategy.
- Maintain documentation and handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, team members, managers, and vendors.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Epic Ambulatory certification.
- 5+ years healthcare and EHR experience with Epic Outpatient focus.
- 5+ years in Epic Bones.
- 5+ years in SmartText build.
- 5+ years in Ambulatory.
- Strong understanding of Ambulatory Bones, Beacon, and Phoenix workflows and clinical operations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Inpatient experience in addition to Ambulatory.
- Cadence experience.
- Clinical background as RN or Physician.
