Test Technician - Medical Device Testing


Location: Arden Hills, MN (Onsite)


Pay Rate: $29.00/hour


Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (some flexibility available)

Are you detail-oriented and interested in medical device testing? We are seeking a Test Technician to support R&D testing activities for innovative catheter-based medical devices. This hands-on role involves executing a variety of mechanical, electrical, and simulated-use tests while accurately documenting data and following established testing protocols.

Key Responsibilities


  • Perform product testing including tensile, flex, torque, extension/retraction, fatigue, electrical, and simulated-use testing.

  • Support R&D projects through test setup, execution, documentation, and data collection.

  • Conduct measurements using microscopes, test equipment, and other laboratory tools.

  • Analyze and record test results with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Follow quality procedures and maintain compliance with all testing requirements.

  • Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and file management tools to organize and report data.


Qualifications


  • Associate degree (AA) or equivalent work experience in a related field such as manufacturing, assembly, operations, testing, or technician work.

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.

  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple test activities.

  • Experience operating technical or complex equipment is preferred.

  • Knowledge of tensile testing, microscopy, or electrical measurement equipment is a plus.
