Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Knowledge Management Lead on behalf of our client in Remote, United States. This role will lead the development, governance, and optimization of knowledge management (KM) systems, including enterprise information portals and SharePoint environments. The ideal candidate will collaborate across teams to enhance end-user engagement, ensure information quality, and drive adoption of KM best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of knowledge management systems, including SharePoint sites and enterprise information portals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., change management, training, communications, analytics) to support KM initiatives
  • Oversee governance, organization, and quality of repository content, ensuring compliance with established standards
  • Manage and guide teams responsible for maintaining structured knowledge repositories
  • Develop executive-level briefings, reports, and dashboards to support KM strategy and decision-making
  • Monitor project performance, including cost, schedule, and deliverables
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies across KM projects
  • Partner with program management and KM teams to ensure consistency, compliance, and system optimization
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of professional work experience
  • Proven experience managing IT-related projects
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle and project management methodologies
  • Experience tracking project costs, schedules, and performance metrics
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate risks effectively
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or a related technical field
    (Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SharePoint administration and governance
  • Background in knowledge management practices and tools
  • Experience working within large federal or healthcare environments
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems implementation
