Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in AWS data services and big data technologies. The role involves building scalable data pipelines, managing data platforms, and supporting analytics teams. Experience working in large-scale environments such as Amazon is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, EMR, and Step Functions.
Build batch and real-time data ingestion pipelines from APIs, databases, and streaming platforms.
Implement and manage data lakes and data warehouses using S3, Redshift, and Athena.
Work with big data technologies like Spark, PySpark, Hadoop, and Hive.
Develop CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Ensure data quality, security, and governance using AWS tools such as IAM and KMS.

Required Skills:

Strong experience with Amazon Web Services (Glue, S3, Redshift, EMR, Lambda, Kinesis, Athena)
Programming: Python, SQL (Scala is a plus)
Big Data: Spark/PySpark, Hadoop, Hive
Databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB
Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and distributed systems

Requirement:

10+ years of data engineering experience
Strong AWS data platform expertise
Preferred: Experience working with or for Amazon in a similar role.
