Primary Location: Chicago, Illinois

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring Systems Analyst Clinical Scheduling our premier client in Chicago, Illinois.

Education and Experience

• Minimum 2-5 years experience with Healthcare Information Systems is required.
• Minimum 2 years build and maintenance experience with Cerner Millennium
• Experience in the use of Client Server Clinical systems is preferred.
• BA/BS degree is preferred. In place of a degree, 10+ years of relevantexperience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of Cerner Millennium Scheduling, Oracle scheduling build or powerchart
• Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle
• The use of personal computer hardware and software packages, MS Office is required.
• Ability to complete project tasks and assignments on time is required.
• Applications programming experience a plus.
• Project management and project management software skills
• Exhibit the ability to communicate effectively in a customer service environment
• Implementation project management experience and hands on experience implementing vendor clinical application software, along with a strong desire to learn other technologies is required.
• Scheduling is required.

WHAT YOULL DO:

Job Responsibilities:

• Oracle scheduling build or powerchart
• Utilizing Cerner Millennium Scheduling the analyst will design, build and
• Document application changes.
• Consult with end users on Scheduling design and build changes.
• Tests software to detailed specifications.
• Trains less experienced personnel.
• Reports project activity and status to management.
• Learns new clinical applications and oversees the completion of tasks relatedto clinical system functions.
• Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with both internal and external hospital contacts.
• Must have excellent verbal and written skills.
