You will lead up to eight direct reports with varying levels of experience and oversee a team of engineers responsible for the selection, validation, and verification of novel processes, equipment, and infrastructure used to manufacture catheters, guidewires, and implantable neurovascular devices.

You will have responsibility for large segments of each project, including people management and the technical assessment of associated manufacturing processes, systems, and infrastructure. Additionally, you will grow and develop your team to support the continued growth of Stryker's Neurovascular division.

What You Will Do:

  • Partner effectively across divisional and operations functions, as well as with counterparts across the broader organization, to address NPI challenges, drive resolution, and deliver new products to market on time.
  • Provide clear direction on projects and establish team priorities, creating a sense of urgency and importance to deliver new products within quality, cost, and timeline requirements.
  • Determine project scope, scale, resource needs, and financial requirements for each new product, with accountability for capital and expense budgets.
  • Critically assess new product charters and financial plans to identify and translate key deliverables, including standard cost and launch requirements.
  • Identify, hire, and manage talent needed to validate and release new processes and equipment into production in accordance with Stryker systems and specifications.
  • Guide the team through complex or challenging situations by removing obstacles, assigning appropriate resources, and partnering across functions to resolve issues.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • 8+ years of technical experience in a product or process development role.
  • 2+ years of people management experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Technical knowledge and experience in polymer extrusion manufacturing, including extrusion process development, polymer selection, and testing.
  • Medical device industry experience.
  • Experience with manufacturing line equipment selection, layout/setup, and IQ/OQ/PQ.
  • Demonstrated leadership, project management, and engineering experience in new product introduction, with a history of bringing products to market.
  • Experience with process mapping, FMEA, DFM, scrap reduction, Lean, and Class 6 cleanrooms would be beneficial.

United States of America Pay Ranges:
  • $123,900 - $206,500 USD Annual
