We are experiencing growth and looking for an RF Engineer to join our team in Grand Prairie, TX.
You will join our Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) Center of Excellence (COE) team in Dallas to lead the design, integration, and optimization of advanced HWIL systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, calibrating, troubleshooting, operating and maintaining advanced RF HWIL systems, subsystems, and components. Additionally, they will design RF circuits, perform signal integrity measurements, analyze real-time simulation output, and manage the repair and replacement of RF subsystem components. The Staff Engineer will mentor junior team members, define technical standards, and drive complex RF HWIL projects that support critical mission testing.
What You Will Be Doing
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the operation, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of complex RF HWIL platforms.
Design, prototype, and validate RF circuits (up converters, down converters, LO distribution networks, frequency synthesizers) for closed loop HWIL simulations
Conduct advanced signal integrity and performance measurements; develop test plans, analyze results, and implement corrective actions
Oversee analysis of real time, closed loop HWIL simulation data, performing detailed performance assessments and root cause investigations
Manage the repair, refurbishment, or redesign of RF subsystem components
Serve as technical lead on HWIL projects, coordinating with software, systems, and test teams; mentor E2/E3 engineers

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
5+ years of progressive experience in RF design, test, and integration, with a proven record of delivering HWIL or similar high fidelity test solutions.
Deep expertise operating and interpreting data from advanced RF test equipment (VNA, spectrum analyzer, mixed signal oscilloscopes).
Demonstrated experience integrating RF circuits at microwave frequencies, including LO distribution and frequency conversion architectures.
Desired skills
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Extensive experience with real time, closed loop RF HWIL simulators.
In depth knowledge of GPS/GNSS simulators (e.g., Spirent, BroadSim) and their integration into HWIL environments.
Experience working with cross functional teams, delivering technical presentations, and authoring technical reports for senior leadership.

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $123,500 - $217,695. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement
