Job DetailsResponsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a growing team of tax professionals while supporting their technical and professional development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients through proactive communication and knowledgeable tax guidance.
- Oversee a variety of tax consulting, compliance, and planning projects.
- Develop and review tax projections, estimated tax calculations, extension filings, tax returns, supporting workpapers, and financial statements.
- Provide tax planning and consulting related to charitable giving, private foundations, closely held businesses, trusts, partnerships, and other complex client situations.
- Partner with wealth management professionals to understand clients' broader financial objectives and identify opportunities for integrated tax and financial planning.
- Collaborate with leadership and colleagues to develop and present strategic tax planning recommendations.
- Research complex tax issues and monitor changes in tax legislation, regulations, and guidance.
- Review tax work for accuracy, completeness, and technical quality.
- Manage multiple client engagements and competing priorities while maintaining a high level of client service.
- Contribute to a collaborative culture focused on professional development, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- At least 5 years of tax experience within a public accounting, private accounting, financial planning, wealth management, or similar environment.
- CPA or EA designation preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working with high-net-worth individuals and complex tax situations.
- Strong experience with partnerships, trusts, and closely held entities.
- Experience with tax consulting and strategic tax planning.
- Strong tax research capabilities and the ability to interpret changing regulations.
- Experience with tax compliance software; CCH or GoSystem experience is a plus.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing, mentoring, or developing junior tax professionals.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
