Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Description: Our client would like us to provide them with an Azure Infrastructure expert for a short term project.
Responsibilities:

• Need someone to review our client s current setup in Azure and make recommendations regarding protecting what they have, future growth, capacity reservations, support levels, etc.
• Need someone to draft a mid-level plan on what is needed to move to another Azure Data Center if East is reaching capacity.
• Expertise in knowing how to allocate VM s, Storage, Network, and related CPU, Memory, Disk, etc.
• Understand the difference between resizing a VM to a new shape vs. creating a new VM and migration tasks (disk, network, WAF, etc.) associated with both.
• How do snapshots play a role in either scenario?
• How do they protect their current environment while they attempt to move to the new VM shape? Focus on any rollback scenarios needed.
• Options to improve IOPS performance of an existing VM if possible.
