AWS Engineer

Hiring! AWS Engineer for 3 month + Project for our direct Client located in Reston, VA. Seeking local candidates that will travel onsite to Reston VA for team meetings.

Job Requirements:

• Must have experience Migrating on-premise production applications and backend data connections (mainframe/on-prem databases) to AWS, primarily using MongoDB and Postgres
• Must-Have Skills: AWS, EKS, Istio, Helm charts, OAuth 2, and JWT
• Must have 8 10 years overall experience with at least 3 years specifically in the required technologies
• Knowledge of cloud technologies ( e.g. AWS, Azure),
• Knowledge of database technologies (e.g. cloud, SQL, Oracle, Mongo DB, PostgreSQL, etc.), Advanced
• Fundamental knowledge of software engineers best practices, agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, Advanced
• Knowledge of test-first practices including Test-Driven Development (TDD) for unit tests and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) for automated acceptance tests, Advanced
• Strong experience with Deployment/Continuous Integration/ Continuous Testing/ Continuous Delivery processes and tools and have expertise in CI/CD tools and framework, Advanced
• Experience with deploying a global application and configuration management, Advanced
