Under limited supervision, this position provides technical support to engineers on a variety of tasks, including composites lamination, trimming, layouts, structural bonding, and assembly. The role gathers, maintains, formats, and compiles technical data such as laboratory, dimensional, and material test results, as well as engineering design changes. It also reviews, edits, and may produce engineering documentation, reports, and drawings, including flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics. The position performs preliminary data analyses following established guidelines (for example, basic statistical analysis and checks of model dimensional consistency and accuracy), conducts detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas, and develops and analyzes documentation and reports as required. The role also includes conducting tests and recording data to support engineering evaluations and analyses.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Perform composites manufacturing processes, including tooling, part fabrication, trimming, structural bonding, and assembly.
- Provide technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.
- Gather, maintain, format, and compile technical data such as laboratory, dimensional, or material test results and engineering design changes.
- Review, modify, and produce engineering documentation, reports, and drawings such as flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics.
- Perform detailed mathematical calculations and present findings.
- Provide preliminary analysis of data or documentation using established guidelines, including basic statistical analysis and checks of model dimensional consistency and accuracy.
- Conduct tests and record data to support engineering evaluations and analyses.
- May act as a lead and provide direction to less experienced staff.
- Observe all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
- Maintain a productive and safe working environment in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Job Qualifications- Typically requires an associate's degree in engineering or a related technical field and three years of related experience. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
- Considerable knowledge of composites manufacturing and engineering principles, theories, and concepts.
- Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read, interpret, modify, and create blueprints, drawings, and other engineering documentation; strong organizational skills.
- Ability to identify issues, interpret data, and present findings clearly.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to accurately document, report, assess situations, and make sound judgments.
- Good working knowledge of computer operations and applications relevant to the field.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, and to work extended hours as required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance is required.
