Location: DMV area, hybrid — primarily remote with in-person client engagement as needed

Position Summary
The Project Manager serves as a key relationship manager for client engagements, driving the delivery of customer outcomes across technology solution projects for multiple customers. This role bridges the gap between technical teams and customers — driving projects forward, keeping clients consulted and engaged, and ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Own the successful delivery of technology solutions that achieve customer outcomes and meet service delivery standards
· Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality across multiple concurrent engagements
· Facilitate the planning process – ensuring technical plans are thorough, key assumptions are validated, and minimum project requirements are captured
· Navigate changing requirements, evolving scope, and shifting priorities while maintaining project momentum
· Ensure quality assurance activities occur per project plan and quality checkpoints
Own the client relationship for project execution, keeping customers consulted, engaged, and confident in the value being delivered
· Be the primary customer contact throughout the project lifecycle
· Translate customer needs into actionable direction for technical teams
Ensure alignment, momentum, and coordination of the project team
· Direct alignment between delivery approach and solution design with technical leads and architects
· Build and sustain healthy team dynamics across project teams, driving collaboration and accountability
Maintain portfolio visibility through consistent project documentation, status reporting, and leadership communication
· Manage stakeholder communication and reporting for both customers and internal leadership
· Keep project documentation, status, and reporting current
Competencies & Skills
PM Competencies
· Solid grounding in core project management disciplines: planning, scheduling, scope and change management, risk management, quality management, and stakeholder management
· Strong foundation in Agile and hybrid project management methodologies
· Ability to facilitate planning, define requirements, and validate assumptions
· Knowledge of enterprise-level dynamics including stakeholder management and change management
· Financial and budget awareness including ability to track, forecast, and communicate project financials
Technical Competencies
· Sufficient understanding of infrastructure modernization, multi-cloud environments, automation, and AI implementations to ask the right questions and translate customer needs for technical teams
· Ability to engage meaningfully with technical leads and architects on solution design and delivery approach
Leadership Competencies
· Composure and professionalism with enterprise clients and senior stakeholders
· Ability to manage competing interests and build consensus across diverse stakeholders
· Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education & Experience Requirements
· Bachelor''s degree in a related field (business, information technology, or equivalent)
· 5+ years of project management or service delivery experience
· Demonstrated experience managing technology solution projects for enterprise clients
· Experience with public sector or SLED (State, Local, and Education) clients
· Experience managing multiple concurrent engagements
Certifications
· Project management certification preferred (e.g., PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, ITIL, or equivalent)
