Exciting opportunity for an EP Technician with 2 years of experience to provide specialized support in the Electrophysiology (EP) Cath Lab. This role is based in Boonville, MO, offering a travel position that combines hands-on patient care with technical expertise in cardiac imaging and procedural assistance. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert assistance during EP lab procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment critical to electrophysiology studies.
- Collaborate closely with the clinical team in a fast-paced, 24/7 healthcare environment.
- Comply with infection control protocols while interacting with patients who may have contagious illnesses.
- Perform physical tasks including ambulating, reaching, and safely handling equipment weighing over 20 lbs.
- Work rotating shifts, including holidays and weekends, with a day shift schedule of four 10-hour days (7:00 AM 5:30 PM).
- No on-call or late coverage required for procedures, though shifts may occasionally extend past 5:30 PM.
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of EP Tech experience; first-time travelers are welcome.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role.
- Flexibility to work assigned shifts, weekends, and at least half of all holidays during the contract.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, sterile environment and delivering high-quality patient care.
