Summary

Title: SharePoint Developer/Consultant.

Location:  Philadelphia, PA 19122 (on site 4 days per week for the first 90 days, and then may work remotely thereafter with up to 2 days onsite).

Duration: 12+ Months Contract.

 

Job description:

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Consultant with expertise designing, developing, and supporting enterprise SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 solutions. This role is responsible for the full application development lifecycle, including architecting scalable SharePoint and Power Platform solutions, configuring and administering SharePoint Online services, developing custom sites, workflows, web parts, and integrations, and optimizing existing environments. The consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, establish information architecture, implement governance and security best practices, and deliver innovative Microsoft 365 solutions.

 

Required Experience (7-9 years):

  • Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), and Microsoft Graph APIs.
  • Experience developing responsive web solutions using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, Node.js, and NPM.
  • Hands-on experience with Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer, Workflow Manager, InfoPath, Sharegate, Metalogix, and SharePoint reporting tools.
  • Experience integrating SharePoint and Power Platform solutions with enterprise systems using REST APIs, web services, and other integration technologies.
  • Experience delivering secure, high-quality enterprise solutions following governance and industry best practices.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming; experience with .NET/C#.
  • Experience implementing and integrating Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, or other Microsoft AI capabilities within Microsoft 365 and Power Platform solutions.
  • Experience integrating third-party enterprise applications, cloud services, and AI platforms (such as Azure AI Services, OpenAI, or other AI/ML services) with SharePoint and Power Platform solutions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain customized SharePoint Online solutions throughout the full application development lifecycle.
  • Architect and build scalable solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Power Platform, and Power Automate to meet business requirements.
  • Configure and administer SharePoint Online services, including Search, Managed Metadata, User Profiles, workflows, and related Microsoft 365 capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain SharePoint sites, web parts, workflows, interfaces, and integrations with enterprise applications using APIs and standard integration patterns.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define information architecture, develop site content frameworks, and deliver user-centric solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, enhance, and optimize existing SharePoint environments while independently managing maintenance, upgrades, and support activities.
  • Develop technical documentation, deployment artifacts, user guides, and training materials.
  • Establish and promote SharePoint governance, architecture standards, security, SDLC, and change management best practices.
  • Evaluate business and technology requirements to recommend innovative, scalable, and sustainable Microsoft 365 solutions.
