Job Summary:

This role supports a State government Data Modernization and Agile Transformation initiative. The Agile Coach will design and implement Agile practices for the Data & Analytics team, establish Azure DevOps workflows, and drive measurable improvements in collaboration, delivery cadence, and team efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the Agile operating model for the data organization.
• Build sprint workflows, backlog structures, prioritization models, and release planning processes.
• Configure Agile templates and boards within Azure DevOps.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach team members, leadership, and product owners on Agile principles and best practices.
• Lead pilot sprints and steer continuous improvement efforts.
• Develop Agile training materials, onboarding documentation, and playbooks.
• Partner with Change Management to support adoption and organizational alignment.
• Track Agile performance metrics and recommend process enhancements.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master.
• Experience leading Agile adoption in technical or data teams.
• Strong proficiency in Azure DevOps Agile features.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
• Agile certifications preferred (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP).
