POSITION OVERVIEW: As a
GIS Analyst at LJA
Land Development, you will be responsible for understanding of common GIS principles, including data creation, data storage, data dissemination and map creation. Applicant must have, at a minimum, a GIS oriented degree and have experience working with ArcGIS Pro. The applicant must understand coordinate systems, basic geoprocessing tools, and demonstrate skills in cartographic representation.
A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE:- Map Creation
- Data Acquisition
- Data Storage
- Data Dissemination
- Database Entry
- Digital Deliverables
- Create cartographic products using established standards
- Utilize GIS tools and techniques to analyze, manage, and visualize data
REQUIRED EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:- Degree in GIS or Geography
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:- 0+ years of experience
- Experience with ArcGIS Pro
- Strong communication skills
- Highly organized and detailed oriented
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex spatial data
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines
- Sit for extended periods of time working on computer
