Job Title: Gen AI Engineer - Remote / Telecommute

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $50hr - $55hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry and Azure PaaS services.
  • Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and data manipulation.
  • Experience with data science and machine learning libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and Scikit-learn.
  • Hands-on experience with GenAI and agentic frameworks such as AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, Azure AI Foundry, and Azure OpenAI.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, including supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, and natural language processing.
  • Familiarity with GenAI tools such as MCP Server, Hugging Face Transformers, OpenAI APIs, and diffusion models for image generation.
  • Ability to work across all SDLC phases with clean coding practices, testing, and documentation.

Experience:

  • Experience designing, building, and deploying AI applications using LLMs and agentic frameworks.
  • Experience implementing machine learning and data science algorithms defined by Solution Architects.
  • Experience working across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Experience delivering production-ready AI applications.
  • Experience in model training, fine-tuning, and data preparation.
  • Senior-level experience leading design discussions and customer interactions is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop AI solutions using frameworks such as AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, and Copilot Studio.
  • Implement data science and machine learning algorithms defined by Solution Architects.
  • Participate in all SDLC phases, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Design, build, and deploy production-ready GenAI and agentic applications.
  • Train and fine-tune models while maintaining reproducible experiments.
  • Create clear documentation, maintain test coverage, and support deployment pipelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create reliable and scalable AI solutions.
  • Senior engineers will lead architecture, design decisions, and customer interactions.
  • Junior engineers will focus on model training, fine-tuning, and data preparation.

Should Have:

  • Experience with AutoGen and LangGraph multi-agent patterns and orchestration.
  • Knowledge of RAG pipelines, vector databases, prompt optimization, and safety or guardrails.
  • Exposure to MLOps, including model versioning, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Microsoft Azure cloud certifications are a plus.

Qualification and Education:
