Job Summary:
We are seeking a strong Java Developer with experience building data platforms, machine learning enabled systems, or large-scale data engineering solutions. This role involves working on high-performance backend services and data-driven platforms within a highly scalable, engineering-focused environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep Java expertise, strong system design skills, and experience supporting advanced data or ML workloads in enterprise-grade ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based backend applications and services
- Build and support data platforms, data pipelines, or ML-enabled backend systems
- Develop high-performance APIs and microservices supporting data-intensive workloads
- Collaborate with data engineers, ML engineers, and platform teams to enable analytics and ML use cases
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and design decisions
- Ensure best practices around security, data handling, and system resilience
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Java (Core Java, Java 8+)
- Experience with Data Engineering, Data Platforms, or Machine Learning related systems
- Solid understanding of distributed systems and backend architecture
- Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
- Strong knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure)
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
