Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eager Sr Digital Applications Developer. The Sr. Digital Applications Developer will evaluate, develop, modify, code, and test software programs to support internal Daikin Applied programming needs as well as provide support to applications users throughout Daikin Applied. Under limited supervision you will analyze, test, and debug applications as well as document, evaluate and make modifications to existing programs or formulate logic for new programs. Location: Plymouth, MN - Hybrid

What you will do:
  • Supports the design, programming or testing of one or more applications
  • Analyze existing programs or formulate logic for new systems, devise logic procedures, prepare flowcharting, and perform coding
  • Responsible for maintaining multiple applications or several areas within a single application
  • References and understands application and system documentation to support design, testing or programming efforts without assistance from more experienced Digital specialists
  • Documents and reviews programs, including installation and maintenance
  • Develops multiple areas of expertise in installation, design, configuration or specialized testing
  • Applies knowledge of the users' operations, integration into Digital standards and processes, and specialized training in the applications' use
  • Provides and acts on feedback for possible improvements
  • Works as a member of a larger team of individuals with more advanced skills
  • Assists with the support of less experienced team members

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related area or equivalent experience
  • 4-6 years of experience in application and software development. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Uses professional concepts and company policies and procedures to solve a wide range of complex problems in creative and effective ways
  • Applies a broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in applicable discipline, plus working knowledge of other related fields
  • Frequently contributes to the development of new theories and methods
  • Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors
  • Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6 years of experience in application and software development

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 - $153,000 (+ 10% bonus) in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
