Our organization has made a strategic commitment to integrating Artificial Intelligence across every functional area-from Finance and Operations to R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, Sales, and Commercial teams. While individual departments have begun exploring AI tools, we are seeking a dedicated leader to systematically identify, prioritize, and implement AI-driven efficiencies at scale.
As the AI Strategy & Implementation Leader, you will serve as the organization's primary AI champion. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will be a hands-on leader responsible for evaluating high-value AI opportunities, building implementation roadmaps, driving cross-functional adoption, and measuring quantifiable ROI. You will partner with department heads to understand unique workflows, identify automation pain points, and deploy AI solutions that deliver measurable efficiency gains, cost savings, and a distinct competitive advantage.
The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with practical AI fluency-someone who can speak the language of both the C-suite and technical developers in a fast-moving, growth-stage medical device environment.

responsibilities:
- Conduct a comprehensive, company-wide AI opportunity audit across all departments (Finance, Operations, R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing, Sales, Commercial, and HR) to rank use cases by potential ROI, feasibility, and strategic value.
- Deliver a prioritized 12-to-24-month AI implementation roadmap within the first 90 days of tenure.
- Drive measurable AI-driven efficiency gains across all departments on a quarterly basis, ensuring projects move from pilot to full-scale production.
- Build organization-wide AI literacy and drive user adoption through structured training, workshops, and internal advocacy.
- Deliver monthly AI progress reporting and KPIs aligned with Management Business Review (MBR) requirements, specifically focusing on realized ROI and process optimization.
- Act as the primary liaison between department heads and technical resources to ensure AI solutions solve real-world business challenges.
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. MBA or Master's degree is strongly preferred.
5+ years of experience leading AI or Digital Transformation initiatives in a corporate environment, with a demonstrated history of delivering measurable ROI from technology implementations.
Ability to translate complex AI concepts into actionable business strategies that align with long-term corporate goals.
Hands-on proficiency with current AI platforms and tools, including Large Language Models (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot), workflow automation (Zapier, Power Automate, Make), AI-assisted analytics, and intelligent document processing.
Proven track record of driving cross-functional technology adoption across multiple diverse departments simultaneously.
Strong ability to manage a portfolio of concurrent AI initiatives at various stages of the lifecycle, from discovery to stabilization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a background in presenting complex technical data to C-suite leadership and Board-level stakeholders.
Familiarity with the unique constraints of working within a regulated industry (Healthcare, MedTech, or Life Sciences) is a significant advantage.
