SAP Finance - IT Test Analyst

Introduction:

As a SAP Finance - IT Test Analyst, you will be responsible for leading testing activities on large enterprise projects or multiple smaller projects. This includes the delivery of test strategy, test plan, and test status. You will work closely with the QA Manager and other team members to ensure high-quality testing and delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Able to lead testing activities on large enterprise projects or multiple smaller projects, including delivery of test strategy, test plan, and test status.
• Assists in onboarding testers.
• Has delivery experience leading projects through a standard software testing methodology.
• Oversees project to ensure work is scheduled based on priorities, risks, and team strengths.
• Demonstrate leadership accountability for testing on the projects assigned.
• Exhibit confident, tactful oral communication with peers and IT leaders.
• Develop and deliver formal written communication to IT and Business leaders with support from QA Manager.
• Deliver day-to-day assignments with a high level of quality and attention to detail.
• Independently drive issues to closure, escalating to leadership as needed.
• Assist in identifying process improvement opportunities and implement solutions when appropriate.
• Apply a systematic approach to data gathering and analysis to make key decisions that are supported by facts.
• Successfully multi-tasks across project and non-project assignments, delivering on time with direction on priority from QA Manager.
• Build and manage User Acceptance Testing.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience working in SAP CAR and on SAP projects with demonstrated test leadership experience.
• Retail experience.
• Experience leading projects on SAP CAR preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP including SD, MD, Finance and BW.
• Experience leading projects with integration to package solutions including POS, Web, OMS, Financial, and Data Warehouse systems.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile).
• Experience leading projects with multiple teams and integration across multiple applications, including, Omni channel, Warehouse Management, and Reporting applications.
• Experience delivering testing services in an onshore/offshore model.
• Strong experience with HP ALM/JIRA, or other test and defect management tools.
• Organizational and planning skills.

• Strong documentation and communication skills.
