Skills & Qualifications:
 
BS or MS in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science or other Engineering discipline (Mechanical, Automation, Materials Science, Electrical, etc.).
3+ years in a reliability, test, or quality engineering role
Experience with JEDEC, ASTM, and other industry standards.
Hands-on experience with reliability testing and DOE/FMEA tools.
Understanding of failure analysis techniques (X-Ray, CT, SEM/EDS, FTIR, XPS, C-SAM)
Proficiency in statistical analysis.
Experience with laboratory, manufacturing, or experimental setting
 
Roles & Responsibility:
Lead and execute mechanical and environmental reliability tests (e.g., shock, drop, vibration, thermal cycling).
Prepare detailed test plans and reports.
Conduct statistical data analysis for reliability risk assessments.
Perform failure analysis to determine root cause using methods such as X-ray, SEM/EDS, FTIR, and microscopy.
Develop new test procedures and specifications to assess technology robustness.
Provide design recommendations to improve reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (RE, PD, SQE, etc.) to communicate test results and findings.
Conduct research on technologies to predict failure modes.
Prioritize and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Adhere to Apple’s documentation, test, and safety standards.
