W2 Contract - Full Stack Technical Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Full Stack Technical Leads / Senior Developers with 8–10 years of hands-on development experience to design, develop, and deliver scalable, hybrid-cloud-ready applications supporting critical business services.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, JavaScript, and React.js, along with the ability to provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and drive engineering best practices across the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable microservice-based applications using Core Java and Spring Boot, aligned with enterprise standards and long-term technology strategy.
• Develop robust backend services that integrate securely with frontend applications built using JavaScript and React.js.
• Build resilient, highly available, and fault-tolerant microservices supporting critical business processes.
• Define clean, modular, maintainable, testable, and reusable code structures.
• Partner with Product Managers and Business Analysts to translate functional requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
• Provide technical guidance through code reviews, design reviews, and architectural discussions.
• Analyze and optimize application performance, including queries, APIs, service interactions, and resource utilization.
• Implement secure coding practices, including authentication, authorization, data validation, and data protection.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, monitoring, and production releases.
• Drive adoption of automated unit, integration, and API testing practices.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for services, APIs, and integration patterns.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive improvements.
• Mentor junior and senior engineers and help establish engineering best practices across teams.

Required Qualifications

• 8–10 years of hands-on experience in Core Java development.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, collections, multithreading, and concurrency.
• Advanced experience with Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript and React.js.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, service decomposition, inter-service communication, and resilience patterns.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Strong SQL and database optimization skills.
• Understanding of enterprise application security and secure coding practices.
• Experience working with CI/CD and DevOps teams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an onsite environment in Atlanta, GA.
