Job Duties:

Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs for multinational computational software company.
Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
Utilize graduate-level research and analysis skills to implement assigned firmware features and work closely with verification and validation team to ensure the functionality and robustness of the implemented features.
Support validation team during electrical and system validation and characterization.
Assist in the documentation of the firmware development processes.
Update technical manuals.
Support Product Engineering team during customer deployment of firmware and IP.
Some telecommuting permitted.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Build system level prototype control software to develop and validate adaptation, equalization, and control algorithms for high-speed serial synchronous and asynchronous wireline communication
Design, develop and test embedded software for high-speed communications (I2C,SPI) and control algorithm for bare metal and RTOS embedded systems
Validate and debug the implemented high-speed communication control functions on silicon
Advance embedded software prototype and design implementation and firmware optimization for high-speed peripherals
Complex firmware development using C coding and knowledge of 32-bit micro controller
Microcontroller peripheral, register level coding and debug, and multi-threaded embedded FW that can do context switching with RTOS
