Description:
ServiceNow Now Assist / GenAI Engineer

$120,000-$125,000K | Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Locations: Wayne, PA or Plano, TX
Technical Focus Areas

Pre-Screening Questions
  • Has the candidate built Now Assist use cases (OOB + custom)?
  • Which ServiceNow modules have they used with GenAI?
  • Has the candidate worked on Now Assist, not just Virtual Agent?
Must-Have Technical Skills
  1. Strong knowledge of ServiceNow AI (Predictive Intelligence, Task Intelligence) and Now Assist, including GenAI and Agentic AI capabilities across ITSM/HRSD.
  2. Deep experience with ServiceNow platform modules:
    • ITSM
    • Knowledge Management
    • Virtual Agent
  3. Hands-on experience designing, architecting, and implementing Now Assist (OOB + custom solutions).
  4. 1-2 years implementing ServiceNow Predictive Intelligence features.
  5. Experience in:
    • MLOps
    • ML Engineering
    • Prompt Engineering
    • RAG
    • Data Science
    • Building GenAI/Agentic AI solutions
  6. Proficiency with ServiceNow client/server-side JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs.
  7. Strong understanding of ITSM data models, Knowledge Management structures, and platform architecture.
  8. Experience designing solutions using architecture-first principles.
  9. Strong knowledge of ITIL processes: Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge.
Technical Responsibilities
  1. Develop GenAI and AI Agent use cases leveraging ServiceNow Now Assist.
  2. Build technical specifications and implement Now Assist solutions aligned to functional requirements.
  3. Architect and deliver full GenAI solutions within ServiceNow.
  4. Develop integrations between Now Assist and external IT systems using:
    • IntegrationHub
    • SOAP / REST
    • Data Sources
    • Import Sets / Transform Maps
  5. Customize and configure:
    • Now Assist
    • Virtual Agent
    • ITSM
  6. Develop and deploy code using ServiceNow platform scripting (GlideScript, JS).
  7. Work within Agile/DevOps environments:
    • CI/CD
    • Automated testing
    • Sprint-based delivery
  8. Build advanced platform UI components and data-driven solutions.
  9. Provide technical leadership on ServiceNow AI implementations.
