Software Developer (.NET / SQL)
Location: Dallas / Plano, Texas, USA
Position Type: Onsite (FTE)
We are seeking a Software Developer with experience in Microsoft .NET technologies and SQL databases to join a leading financial services organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing and supporting enterprise payment applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test and maintain applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.
Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures and database objects.
Troubleshoot application and production issues and provide timely resolutions.
Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams and other developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
Support application deployments and production releases.
Prepare technical documentation as required.
Required Skills
8 12 years of software development experience.
Strong experience in C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, ASP.NET and Web APIs.
Strong SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries, stored procedures and database optimization.
Good understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
Experience with Git or other version control tools.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
Basic exposure to the banking payments domain, including technologies or processes such as SWIFT, ACH, RTP, Fedwire, ISO 20022 or payment processing, would be an added advantage.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Exposure to Azure or other cloud platforms is desirable.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
