Responsibilities:
- Automate Kafka infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and GitOps practices
- Manage and scale high-availability Apache Kafka clusters across on-premise and cloud environments
- Deploy Kafka on Kubernetes, monitor system performance, and implement strong security practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient operation of Kafka clusters
- Troubleshoot and resolve any Kafka-related issues in a timely manner
Requirements:
- 6-8 years of overall experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka/Confluent Kafka administration
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Kafka security (SASL/SSL/RBAC)
- Experience deploying Kafka on Kubernetes or OpenShift platforms
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana for performance tuning
- Experience managing high-availability clusters
