Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Developer IV to join our team in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in web development, a strong understanding of modern web technologies, and the ability to work in a dynamic Agile/Scrum environment. This role involves developing web applications and sites that engage and retain visitors, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, and optimizing for performance and SEO. The candidate will also provide guidance on industry best practices and collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Responsibilities: - Develop web applications and sites with a focus on user engagement and retention.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and page optimization.
- Incorporate social media and mobile functionality into applications and sites.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to deliver high-quality products.
- Provide guidance on industry best practices and governance for web applications.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and innovations in web development.
- Perform benefit analysis for IT solutions and recommend technology directions.
- Supervise and direct staff as assigned, including participation in recruiting and performance reviews.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Mastery of modern web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JS frameworks (e.g., Angular, jQuery).
- Experience with responsive web design, fluid layouts, and mobile interfaces.
- Knowledge of SEO concepts and coding for Search Engine Optimization.
- Proficiency in REST APIs, AJAX, XML, and MVC Frameworks.
- Advanced skills in object-oriented coding and scripting languages such as Java, .NET/C#, PHP, and Ruby.
- Experience with relational database modeling and advanced SQL queries/procedures.
- Ability to create reusable JavaScript libraries and configure hosting environments (IIS, Apache).
- Strong skills in rapid prototyping and presenting website designs to clients.
- Ability to travel to off-site locations as required.

Pay Range: $70-75/Hr
