Key Responsibilities
• Lead design and development of Medicaid applications (claims, eligibility, enrollment)
• Provide technical leadership and mentor development teams
• Lead architecture, design and development using Java full stack technologies (Spring Boot,
Microservices, Angular/React, REST APIs)
• Drive hands-on development when needed, especially in critical components and solution design
• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards (HIPAA, CMS)
• Collaborate with business and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting complex issues
• Lead Agile/Scrum processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives and implement best
practices
• Ensure application scalability, security, and high availability
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and adoption of modern/AI technologies
Requirements
• 8–12 years of IT experience with technical leadership background
• Strong Medicaid/MMIS domain experience (MMIS preferred)
• Hands-on Java full stack development experience
• Experience with REST APIs, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and databases
• Excellent communication and leadership skill
