Oracle HCM Payroll Lead – Mexico Payroll
Location: Fully Remote
Employment Type: W2 Contract
Contract Duration: 4 months, with potential extension based on performance
Pay Rate: $85–$100/hour, depending on experience
Russell Tobin is seeking a hands-on Oracle HCM Payroll Lead – Mexico Payroll to support a client with Oracle HRMS/HCM development, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and payroll implementation activities. This role is ideal for someone with strong Oracle HCM Payroll expertise, Mexico payroll implementation experience, and the ability to perform technical development work including SQL, PL/SQL, workflows, reports, interfaces, data conversions, and production support.
Responsibilities
- Lead Oracle HCM Mexico Payroll configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and payroll execution activities.
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain Oracle HRMS/HCM applications, including Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Self-Service, and Talent Management modules.
- Develop and customize HRMS workflows, reports, interfaces, and data conversions.
- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL and PL/SQL code to support HRMS data queries, integrations, and reporting requirements.
- Perform analysis, design, coding, data migration, and testing for HRMS production and development environments.
- Support Mexico-specific payroll implementation requirements, including regulatory and compliance-related payroll needs.
- Collaborate with HR and cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Configure and maintain HRMS system setups, including organization structures, positions, security profiles, and related configuration.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and production validation to ensure application quality and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot and resolve HRMS/HCM application issues, including debugging and resolving production defects.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system design, data models, technical specifications, and application configuration details.
- Stay current with Oracle HRMS/HCM technologies, payroll functionality, and industry trends.
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility while supporting a respectful and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Oracle HRMS Developer, Oracle HCM Developer, Oracle Payroll Developer, Oracle HCM Payroll Consultant, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience developing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and running Oracle HCM Payroll for Mexico.
- Strong understanding of Mexico-specific payroll regulatory requirements and payroll implementation needs.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle HRMS/HCM modules, HR business processes, and data structures.
- Experience developing and customizing HRMS workflows, reports, interfaces, and data conversions.
- Proficiency with SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle HRMS APIs.
- Experience performing analysis, design, coding, data migration, and testing for HRMS production and development environments.
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS and/or Oracle Cloud HCM preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Dallas, TX for the duration of the contract.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Payroll Certification.
- Prior experience supporting Mexico payroll implementations or production payroll operations.
- Experience working in large enterprise or professional services environments.
