Job Title : Business Analyst (QA & Testing)

Position Overview

Work across both business analysis and quality assurance to help deliver high-quality business applications. This role combines requirements gathering, stakeholder collaboration, documentation, and functional testing, making it ideal for professionals who enjoy bridging business and technical teams.

What You'll Do / Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

  • Perform process analysis and coordinate with business and technical stakeholders.

  • Facilitate JAD and requirements sessions.

  • Prepare test cases and execute functional testing activities.

  • Track and document defects through the testing lifecycle.

  • Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Produce clear business and functional documentation.

  • Learn new business processes and systems as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Business Analysis experience, including requirements gathering, documentation, process analysis, and stakeholder coordination.

  • 2+ years of QA/testing experience, including test case preparation, functional testing, defect tracking, and UAT/SIT support.

  • Experience facilitating JAD/requirements sessions and working with business and technical teams.

  • Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a hybrid model from Troy, Michigan.

  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and business processes.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Accounting or Finance domain knowledge/background.

  • Experience supporting financial, payment, collection, or accounting-related applications.
