Quality Engineer (Swift/Python) - Mobile / AI Test Automation
Location: Seattle, WA (On-Site)
Pay: $35-$45/hr (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Contract Length: 12 months (recurring contract based on performance and demand)
Compensation
You'll earn $35-$45/hour based on your experience level, on a consistent Monday through Friday schedule. This is a 12-month contract with a strong track record of renewals for solid performers.
About This Role
You'll develop and maintain automated test scripts in Swift and Python for cloud-based services and consumer products used by hundreds of millions of people worldwide. You'll work on-site in a secure lab environment at a major tech campus in Seattle, hands-on with unreleased hardware and software alongside cross-disciplinary engineering teams.
What You'll Do
You'll execute and maintain test scripts for cloud-based services across international markets, and develop automated software tests using Swift and Python. You'll define automation strategy and design tools for unit, functional, and performance testing. You'll detect bugs, analyze results, and identify patterns in production-level code, proposing improvements to existing processes and tools to increase team speed, quality, and efficiency. You'll test software from both component and feature integration perspectives and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to conceive, design, and develop innovative consumer products.

What We're Looking For
You'll be a strong fit with 2-3 years of experience in quality engineering or quality analytics - candidates with 4-5 years of experience (or equivalent software development experience with a testing focus) will be considered at the higher end of the pay range. Strong scripting ability in Swift or Python is required. You bring solid knowledge of software testing methodologies and processes, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, open team environment. You're responsive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.
