Express Employment of Covina is seeking an Entry-Level Maintenance Technician for our client located in Claremont.
Hours: Monday-Friday 5:00AM - 1:30PM
Pay Rate: $17.50
Job Summary:
We are looking for an Entry-Level Maintenance Technician to help with basic maintenance and repairs on production machines and equipment. This is a good opportunity for someone with some hands-on experience who wants to continue learning and grow their maintenance skills.
Responsibilities:
- Help with basic maintenance and repairs on production machines and equipment.
- Assist with troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Check equipment and report any problems.
- Help with preventive maintenance to keep machines running properly.
- Use basic hand and power tools safely.
- Assist with repairs, adjustments, and equipment setup.
- Work with the production team to help reduce equipment downtime.
- Keep simple records of maintenance and repairs.
- Follow all company safety rules and procedures.
- Keep tools, equipment, and the work area clean and organized.
- Report equipment problems to the supervisor or maintenance lead.
- Help with other maintenance duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of maintenance, mechanical work, machinery, or tools.
- Some hands-on experience with repairs or equipment is a plus.
- Previous manufacturing, automotive, warehouse, or maintenance experience is a plus.
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Good attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work well with others.
