Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with 7+ years of experience in designing and developing scalable, high-quality full-stack applications.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Node.js and React, along with solid experience in microservices architecture, databases, and cloud platforms.
This role requires strong collaboration skills, technical leadership capabilities, and a commitment to delivering clean, efficient, and production-ready code.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable full-stack applications using Node.js, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js
- Collaborate with Product, UI/UX, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver features on time
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and testable code
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions
- Work within Agile/Scrum environments
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- React
- Node.js
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- HTML / CSS
- Bash
- Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs
- Experience with GraphQL and JSON
- Strong database experience:
- PostgreSQL (Required)
- Relational & NoSQL databases
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills
- 2+ years of experience with:
- Messaging systems (Kafka preferred)
- Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform)
- Experience with:
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- DevOps practices
- Unit & End-to-End testing frameworks
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Additional Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Bachelor s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Must be able to work onsite in Plano, TX (5 days per week)
