  • Integrate and orchestrate AI APIs and cloud AI services (e.g., Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, and other vendor APIs) within Appian applications and broader enterprise architectures.
  • Optimize prompts, model selection, context window usage, and token consumption to balance accuracy, latency, and cost for AI-enabled Appian solutions.
  • Transform abstract concepts and business problems into working PoCs and technical prototypes; validate technical feasibility and iterate based on user and stakeholder feedback.
  • Implement data protection, security guardrails, and responsible AI practices to ensure safe, compliant AI behavior in alignment with enterprise and customer policies.
  • Ensure systems, Appian solutions, and AI components comply with applicable standards, security requirements, and governance frameworks.
  • Contribute to internal best practices, patterns, and reference implementations for information engineering, Appian solution design, and AI-enabled applications.
  • Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and direction to technical staff; foster collaboration, professional growth, and high performance.
  • Provide technical guidance in software engineering techniques, Appian design patterns, AI integration approaches, and automated support tools.
