Position Summary

We are seeking a Data Analyst - Logistics Business Improvement to serve as the subject matter expert for logistics analytics. This role drives transparency in transportation costs by developing real-time dashboards, standardized reporting processes, and actionable insights. The analyst will partner with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain operations, enhance SAP functionality, and deliver analytics solutions that directly support strategic decision-making.

Core Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting frameworks across multiple workstreams.
  • Translate business reporting requirements into standardized KPIs and analytics processes.
  • Execute exception reports, perform root cause analysis, and deliver carrier performance metrics.
  • Support logistics transparency initiatives and provide daily analytics support to program teams.
  • Collaborate with IT to implement SAP system enhancements for transportation logistics.
  • Build and maintain SharePoint or similar collaboration environments.
  • Balance strategic vs tactical priorities while delivering business improvement plans.
  • Communicate project status and ensure alignment with stakeholder needs.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, MIS, or related field.
  • Commercial supply chain experience.
  • Technical expertise in: SAP, Power BI, Tableau/Alteryx, SQL, Power Query, DAX.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver end-to-end analytics projects within timelines.
  • Experience with self-directed learning, problem solving, and adapting to new tools/data structures.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment and shift priorities with minimal direction.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in analytics or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Commercial, Procurement, Transportation, or Logistics support.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and transaction processing.
  • Experience with SAP SD module, SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Oil & gas logistics or transportation industry background.
