Summary
Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)
Location: New York, NY
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance full stack applications using Java and modern front-end frameworks
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services
Implement new features, enhancements, and bug fixes
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and backlog grooming
Provide production support and assist with deployments
Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to translate requirements into technical solutions
Key Skills Required:
Strong experience with Java (Java 8+)
Spring Boot and Hibernate
Angular / AngularJS
JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
REST APIs and web services
SQL databases (Oracle preferred)
Git or SVN version control
CI/CD pipelines
Apache or Tomcat servers
Nice to Have Skills:
Node.js experience
MongoDB or ELK stack
Messaging systems (MQ, SMTP, Exchange)
Jira or ServiceNow
Experience in banking or financial services environments
