Summary
Role: AVD Virtualization Engineer
Duration: 6 months contract to hire ( without any visa restriction)
Location: Candidates must be commutable distance from Wayne, PA or Plano, TX, because it is a hybrid on-site 3x per week
Required Skills:
We are looking for an Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer, NOT an operation person. These candidates need to have hands-on engineering experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of related work experience.
- Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
- 5+ years of experience supporting Windows desktop and Virtualization Platforms required.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or comparable virtual desktop technologies required.
- Working knowledge of Azure fundamentals: compute, networking, storage required.
- Experience with FSLogix profile management.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience using Microsoft Intune and/or Group Policy preferred.
- Familiarity with Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, and MFA concepts preferred.
- Basic experience with automation tools (PowerShell, Terraform, or similar) required.
- Strong troubleshooting and operational support skills required.
