Job Overview: Shift Schedule: Saturday - Tuesday 6 am - 5 pm CST
Responsibilities: - Support and maintain global networks, including routing, switching, load balancing, and firewall solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement and test network changes.
- Ensure network integrity through ongoing maintenance of configurations.
- Respond to and resolve network-related incidents promptly.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Contribute to post-incident reviews and continuous improvement efforts.
- Maintain established service level agreements to meet customer expectations and quality standards.
- Potential off-hours work to ensure project completion and network reliability.
Qualifications: - Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship requirements.
- Commitment to incorporating security into all decisions and daily responsibilities.
- 3+ years of related experience in network engineering.
- 3+ years configuring and managing firewall policies of Next Gen Firewalls.
- 3+ years working with routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
- Experience with Enterprise Routing and Switching Technologies for data center and campus networks.
- Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, SNMP/RMON, and RDP.
- Experience with VLANs, Spanning Tree, DNS, and DHCP.
- Ability to troubleshoot, identify, isolate, and resolve network issues.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field.
- Understanding of Python and Ansible Tower.
- Knowledge of SD-WAN and software-defined networks in a spine/leaf architecture.
- Experience with network security mechanisms such as VPN, IPSEC, and SSL.
- Experience with IPAM solutions and Web Application Firewalls.
- Basic knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Understanding of SSL certificates.
