Data Reporting Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a Data Reporting Analyst to join a growing analytics and business intelligence team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reporting solutions that help business leaders make informed decisions through accurate, actionable data.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with Power BI, dashboard creation, and data analysis, along with the ability to work with complex data sources and partner with operational stakeholders. This position offers the opportunity to help shape reporting strategies and improve analytics capabilities within a collaborative and growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting & Business Intelligence

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
• Create KPI dashboards, scorecards, and operational reporting for leadership teams.
• Automate recurring reports and improve reporting efficiency.
• Build data visualizations that clearly communicate trends, insights, and performance metrics.
• Maintain and enhance existing reporting environments while identifying opportunities for improvement.

Data Analysis & Management

• Extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple business systems and data sources.
• Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot reporting discrepancies.
• Understand complex data relationships and translate business requirements into reporting solutions.
• Support data governance and data quality initiatives.
• Perform ad hoc analysis to answer business questions and support strategic initiatives.

Collaboration & Process Improvement

• Partner directly with operational and technical stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.
• Document reporting processes, business rules, and data definitions.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows through automation and improved reporting.
• Participate in cross-functional projects focused on analytics and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, or Business Systems Analysis.
• Strong experience with Power BI, including dashboard and report development.
• Experience extracting, transforming, and analyzing data from multiple sources.
• Ability to understand complex data structures and business processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with large operational datasets.
• Healthcare, financial services, or other data-intensive industry experience.
• SQL and data modeling experience.
• Experience with Tableau or other visualization tools.
• Familiarity with enterprise business systems or operational databases.
• Experience automating reporting processes.
• Exposure to data governance and reporting best practices.
