BI Reporting Analyst III

Our client is a leading financial technology company whose products help millions of consumers manage their finances, credit, and lending needs. This role sits within a newly formed Credit & Lending Data Science team.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. In this role, you will build and maintain business intelligence tools, dashboards, and reports that give stakeholders clear visibility into performance, trends, and opportunities. You will work closely with internal teams and leadership to translate raw data into actionable insights.
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large data sets, relational databases, and BI platforms such as Tableau. This role offers the opportunity to directly influence business strategy by identifying trends, monitoring customer and market activity, and ensuring reporting solutions are accurate, timely, and well documented.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain SQL-based data pipelines.
Develop and support reporting dashboards for Credit & Lending products.
Track new member journeys and product launches.
Ensure leadership-facing KPIs are accurate and available daily during peak season.
Troubleshoot reporting or pipeline issues quickly.
Support reporting for pricing tests and new product features.
Partner with other Data Science resources to ensure data is consistent across teams.
Help improve existing BI and reporting capabilities.

Required Experience/Skills

Strong SQL skills – top priority.
Experience building reliable data pipelines.
BI/reporting experience.
Dashboard development and maintenance experience.
Ability to troubleshoot inaccurate or broken reporting.
Strong understanding of how reporting connects to product and business performance.
Ability to work closely with Product and Data Science teams.
Experience with a BI/dashboarding platform such as Tableau, Qlik/Qlik Sense, or a similar tool (no strict tool requirement; Tableau is still used for some top-level leadership dashboards).

Nice-to-Haves

Python (preferred but not required).
Data modeling experience (secondary to SQL and pipeline development).
Lending, fintech, or credit product experience.
Experimentation/A-B testing experience.
Strong product analytics background.

Pay & Benefits Summary

Up to $88/hr W2
