PLW DevOps Specialist (Planisware Reporting/BI and Data Architecture or Planisware Reporting & Analytics Technical Lead:
The PLW DevOps Specialist is responsible for delivering Planisware reporting/BI and data architecture components —including dashboards, AI Agents, data products, Semantics/knowledge layer and data pipelines. The role oversees the design, build, deployment, documentation, and monitoring of technical components to ensure quality, reliability, and traceability across the Planisware analytics and data ecosystem.
Acting as the technical lead across delivery teams (e.g., ICC and/or external vendors), this person ensures solutions are architecturally sound, grounded in robust data modeling, and implemented according to agreed standards.
While not primarily a hands-on dashboard builder or day-to-day Python developer, the specialist must deeply understand the end-to-end technical stack to review designs, guide developers, and translate needs into clear technical requirements.
Key responsibilities
• Technical delivery ownership: Lead and oversee the build, release, and operationalization of Planisware reporting/BI and data architecture components (dashboards, knowledge layers, data products, AI Agents, and data pipelines).
• DevOps execution: Implement and manage CI/CD-style practices for analytics deliverables, including deployment automation, release management, environment promotion, and rollback readiness.
• Architecture & data modeling stewardship: Ensure the Planisware Data foundation architecture is correct and reliable; steward data models and enforce consistency across reporting and analytics use cases.
• Vendor/ICC oversight: Provide technical direction and quality control for work delivered by ICC/external vendors; ensure a shared “common language” and clear expectations for implementation.
• Requirements translation: Convert business requirements into actionable technical deliverables, acceptance criteria, and build plans; communicate effectively with technical delivery teams.
• Quality & documentation: Ensure solutions are properly documented (designs, data lineage/definitions, runbooks, operational procedures) and meet quality standards.
• Validation & adoption support: Coordinate user validation/UAT and confirm accuracy, completeness, and successful adoption of delivered solutions.
• Operations & monitoring: Own pipeline and solution monitoring, troubleshoot issues, reduce bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement and reliability.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Partner closely with the Product Manager Lead and Functional Analyst to prioritize and deliver work across reporting, analytics, data products and integration workstreams.
Outcomes for stakeholders
• Timely, consistent, high-quality delivery of Planisware dashboards, data products, AI Agents, and integrations supporting capabilities across finance, portfolio management, resource management, time tracking, and project management.
• Reduced delivery friction through disciplined build/release/troubleshooting/monitoring and clear technical governance.
Role fit (what “good” looks like)
• Strong data modeling + analytics architecture background with the ability to review and challenge designs.
• Comfortable operating as a technical translator between business needs and engineering execution.
• Practical DevOps mindset for analytics (automation, reliability, observability, controlled releases).
