About the Role

micro1 is engaging experienced BigLaw lawyers to contribute their subject-matter expertise to a customer project focused on training next-generation AI systems.

In this role, you will leverage your legal knowledge, analytical skills, and experience with sophisticated legal matters to evaluate and create high-quality legal content. No prior AI experience is required—your legal expertise is what matters most.

This opportunity is specifically designed for legal professionals with current or prior experience at one or more Vault Law 100 firms and exposure to sophisticated, high-stakes U.S. legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive legal analysis across a variety of U.S. law topics.
• Perform in-depth legal research and ensure information is current, accurate, and well-supported.
• Draft, review, and edit legal materials, including memoranda, opinions, contracts, and related documents.
• Evaluate legal texts for clarity, accuracy, consistency, and alignment with professional best practices.
• Provide structured feedback to improve the quality of legal content.
• Collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary teams to address complex legal scenarios and refine project deliverables.
• Perform quality assurance by identifying errors, inconsistencies, ambiguities, and potential legal issues.
• Apply exceptional attention to detail and maintain consistently high standards across all submissions.

Required Qualifications

• Mandatory experience at one or more Vault Law 100 law firms.
• Active license to practice law.
• Strong academic and professional credentials.
• Experience handling sophisticated U.S. legal matters.
• Demonstrated ability in legal research, analysis, drafting, and document review.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to legal accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience across multiple legal practice areas.
• Experience reviewing or evaluating legal content against defined standards or rubrics.
• Quality assurance or legal-content evaluation experience.
• Experience contributing to multidisciplinary or technology-driven projects.
• Interest in AI, legal technology, or emerging technologies is a plus, but prior AI experience is not required.
