Position: SAP ABAP Developer- ABAP for HANA & OData
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong hands-on expertise in ABAP OO, SAP Gateway, OData services, and REST-based integrations. The ideal candidate is a strong debugger and problem-solver who can work independently in a fast-paced onsite environment.

Must-Have Skills (Required)

Strong hands-on SAP ABAP — ABAP OO preferred
SAP Gateway and OData Service development — SEGW, service registration, activation, and troubleshooting
REST-based integrations — SAP to external systems
Strong understanding of HTTP, REST, JSON, XML — SAP integration concepts
Experience designing and developing Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms, and Conversions (RICEFW)
Debugging and performance tuning — ABAP and Gateway layers
Authorization objects and security best practices — secure data access
Support for unit testing and defect fixes
Ability to work independently in onsite, fast-paced environments
Strong collaboration with functional and technical teams — requirement gathering and delivery
IBM WebSphere Partner Gateway (WPG) — knowledge or experience

Good to Have (Preferred)

CDS Views and AMDP — ABAP for HANA development
Performance optimization — ABAP and database layer tuning
SAP security concepts — authorization and access management
Prior experience in airline or large enterprise environments
SAP ABAP for HANA — leveraging HANA-specific features
